Meet the Team

Founder and CEO

Sejal Shirole

I am a junior at Natick High School in Natick, Massachusetts, and I am very passionate about community service and fostering change. I founded Horizon of Opportunities because of my own personal experience with uncertainty when finding a job I enjoyed as a teenager and not knowing my interests when it came to determining my future career. I also noticed how many youth and even adults around me are still in the dark when it comes to discovering their passion, and it serves as a major discouraging factor for them. Many people are also unaware of the various local opportunities that exist to aid their growth as professionals, so I strive to help connect them with these programs and help them become career-ready. Overall, I hope to address this issue and eliminate this common stress among individuals with HoOp to help strengthen their confidence and bridge the gap they feel with their professional lives.

Hi! I am a junior at Natick High School, MA and am very eager to launch this group! I helped to create and build this organization in hopes of making the transition from high school to college ( and inevitably the real world) a more enjoyable experience. Although I had an idea as to what I wanted to go into for sometime, I never knew how to explore my interests and see if what I was interested in was the future I was sure of for myself. The only way the helped me find myself and my future career was through various organizations and amazing leaders to guide me. With this organization, I hope to bring this similar experience to open the eyes of students to suitable jobs and careers.

Chief Operating Officer

Marina Girgis

I am a Junior at Natick High school in Massachusetts. I became part of Horizon of Opportunities because I love helping others to pave out their roads for their future. I have always been a person who is constantly thinking about my future and what career I will pursue. I constantly look for chances where I can explore my interest as I get very anxious about graduating and still unsure of what I want. I want to help others who are struggling to decide what they want through HoOp and help them narrow out their decision for their future career. My goal is to make our help accessible and to provide different ways for students to explore their interest so that they get a complete idea of what it looks to have and live a certain career.

I am a sophomore at Natick High School in Massachusetts. I think HoOp's purpose is crucial as I see many driven individuals around me at school at a loss on what they wish to make of their lives after high school. Now more than ever, new career options are being introduced to growing generations as our world advances. For many, including me, as high school graduation gets closer, idea of finding a path for the future is daunting. I look forward to the impact HoOp will have as it connects people to opportunities and careers that interest them and makes their aspirations to reality.
